These will bring together Sacred Theatre, Indigenous cultural
and healing practices including the Native American Fire Ceremony, healing through
Sound, Colour and Movement, connections with whales and dolphins where
possible, crystals and more.
Three Ceremonies are planned for August 2007, one on Aboriginal
land by the sea in Bruny Island, Tasmania, one in the Victor Harbour area in
South Australia, and one in Alice Springs. These will be presented by Dian and
Bruce Hardwick, a Native American master of the Fire Ceremony tradition. Bruce
is frequently invited to address a variety of conferences, such as the 100 Year
World Peace Conference in
For many years Bruce has devoted his teachings to expanding the
availability of traditionally exclusive cultural practices to uninitiated
Native American men, women and children, and to all members of non-Indigenous
societies. One very successful way in which he has achieved this is to teach
all who wish to join together in playing the Big Drum. This art, in the past,

The August Ceremonies are being created
to raise energy for this open, globally important project, and specifically for
Dian’s major life-goal of creating a Residential Heart Centre in Alice
Springs. This will offer Healing (Indigenous and non-Indigenous
modalities), Spiritual Retreats, and Cross-Cultural Education Programmes, which
will draw on knowledge from many cultures around the world. When Bruce received
the information from Dian about her plans for the Alice Springs Centre, he
immediately identified this as one of the ten in his original vision, and
offered his services.
Funding for the August Ceremonies is needed, and Dian would be
delighted to hear from anyone who can contribute money, skills, or gifts for
auction.
